Elegant, restrained, lovely. Nose delivers savory spices, a hint of green pepper, blackberry, maybe some black cherry. Mike though he was catching some hot cocoa aromas. Palate is supple, medium-bodied, well-balanced, showing hints of tart cherries, some earthiness, pepper, perhaps sage. A winner--2010 is right on time for us.

Well done. Restrained but powerful with blackberry and cherry. Leather, dusty cocoa and hint of menthol. Fine tannins.
