2007. Dark red fruit, leather, anise dominate the nose. Red fruit, spice, chewy, nice acidity. Could use a bit more depth but I love the house style that Merrill is known for. Great stuff.

May 9th, 20152007. Dark red fruits, spice, and vanilla nose. In the mouth, Dark reds, currant, chocolate, herbs, spunky tannins, with a side of acidity. 30 second finish. Really a well balanced wine. Another few years and wowsers!

Medium bodied. Red and black fruits with a bit of spice. That’s it for me, but this is great now (with three hours of decanting), but still a long way to go in the cellar.

This 2007 has turned into an elegant wine. The nose has a little bit of cedar. Tannins have softened but are still present. Fruit is still strong. Lovely.
