Nov 15th, 2017This is a new grape for me. I wouldn't guess this is Spanish. Reminds me of a classic Italian red. Leather and tobacco on the nose. Sharp, mint and eucalyptus on the palate. Interesting creamy finish.

2010 vintage. Made with an almost extinct pre-phyloxeric varietal, Crespiello. Beautifully proportioned, smooth texture and pleasant floral notes. Will improve with time.
