Reserve Four Mile Creek Lemberger
While I like this wine, my biggest issue is the disconnect between the nose and the palate. The aromas are very barnyard and pyrazine, while the palate carries lovely cherry and blackberry notes. Relatively little tannin, and less peppery than I was expecting for a Lemberger. Still, enjoyable and worth a try for how odd it is in Ontario!

Get hit with some tannins on the end like a merlot. I get blackberry, cherry, spices, peppercorn. Never heard of this grape variety but I'm digging it.

Aug 21st, 2021Definitely a little rustic smell, but the taste makes up for it. Very interesting.

May 12th, 2020Interesting wine considering how varied the nose and the taste are. Still a bit young (we were a little too greedy to save it until 2021) but not bad considering how rare it is to find a Lemberger in this region.
Green pepper, biting berry, dry finish, manure on the nose.
First taste: my own apartment, Ottawa ON. Would let it sit for a few more years.
