See previous note from October 2019. As mentioned this garnered 98 points from prestigious UK Wine magazine, Decanter and only cost $24. Excusing the child like label, the contents are very good from a region in Henty/Drumborg better known for their superb Rieslings. Aromas of Carbonic Maceration - confectionery which developed into a dried cherry component and with time rose petals. A lovely savoury driven light to medium weight palate married nicely with the oak.

A new producer for me. Delectable this is from the Henty District in southern Victoria - not Geelong. The 98 points from Decanter Magazine for around $25 got my attention from an online retailer. This showed bright fresh red fruits with a fine perfumed nose and forest floor. On the palate M plus intensity and good length finishing with savoury Tannins. A good wine but cannot see how the esteemed Decanter gave it 98 points. Good QPR. No points for the label on this occasion. I think Suckling was more on the money giving it 90 points.
