Funky fresh nose and a core of really nice melon fruit, golden apple, hay, honey - waxy mouthfeel, with a crisp zip of acidity to wrap it up nicely. Natural fermentation, aged in stainless steel and oak, fruit all from Rablay-sur-Layon.

Citrus-pithy with definite notes of flinty minerality. Aromas of Asian pear & marmalade also appear on the nose, almost a bit sweet brioche like. The palate is very lean, crisp and mineral driven, with more of that pithy quality coming through.
