La Levrière Vieilles Vignes Pommard Pinot Noir

Cranberry, raspberry, forest floor, very young but can only imagine this one in 5 plus years.

Funky, stinky, earthy, wild strawberries. Divine.

Definitely the oldest wine I’ve have from Dugat-Py. Normally these wines are beasts but this has quite a bit more elegance than I was anticipating. Presumably due to the age. Was really showing great

decanting didn’t happen, was shared among friends quickly. a shame but a gorgeous bottle!

Lots of acid and has a wild (smokey) edge to it. Tannic structure almost Nebbiolo like. Not a big fan of this Domaine - this has been the best bottle I've had from them though

Predictable in the best way.

Exceptional concentration. Cherry, blackberry - evolving to plum with air. Forest floor. Herbaceous. Absolutely lovely texture: so elegant. Well-integrated tannins, of course. Wish I had another bottle.
