Definitely some new oak on this. Darker fruit for Sonoma coast. Well integrated alcohol at %14.9.

Tastes varietally correct, but I bet there's at least a hint of syrah in this. Too much chocolate and spice for there not to be.

Fermented cabbage and sweet berries. A bit of bitter rind note. Not bad.

Medium pale ruby. Syrupy.
High intense mix of smoke, oak, spices and blackberry.
Medium body. Dry. Medium high acidity. Medium low tannin.
Kick with acidity and then balanced. Medium lasting, normal.
The acidity is refreshing.

2018. Slightly more full bodied than other Pinots. Raspberry, cherry, hibiscus. Would benefit from aging a few more years.
Tasted like tobacco and leather a few hours after opening.
