So for last night's steak dinner I grabbed this 2002 Beringer Premier Vineyard Selection Zinfandel to go with our steaks. This bottle has been in our off-site cellar for a little while having been on-site for several years. The wine shows some signs of its age with the color showing a reddish brown hue. The nose has jammy fruit notes and the mouth develops into blackberry and plum. The alcohol level is high but not overly hot. A decent glass.
