Lately delectable is very buggy and disappointing. So hard to get a post in. Anybody else having trouble? Here is my yesterday's post.
At an event, getting my #MerlotThursday...
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, black currants, oak, vanilla, burnt food, cloves, tobacco, barnyard, bitter vegetables and black pepper.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and spices.
This California Merlot is drinkable, simple and not fully balanced. Showing a nice, soft mouthfeel and bitterness on the ending.
Not for me. You win some, you lose some... 😜

This is the cab sauv, not the merlot. I couldn’t find the correct one… anyhow, good value wine. Traded a shelving unit for a bottle… was hoping for a better bottle in return but this will do. Pairs nicely with a Ted bundy documentary.
