A very classy Chardonnay. I was a bit surprised to enjoy it so much, and think it has evolved beautifully. Very well proportioned with pear/apple/lemon fruits, hints of mint and saline.

Wow! What a stellar Chardonnay! For national Chardonnay day, I wanted to open something special. I’d never had this, but @Shawn R knew I was wanting to try and was happy to help me get one.
This is a harmonious marriage of white burgundy (chassagne-Montrachet) and Aubert. Reminds me of a leaner version of Aubert’s Lauren. Crisp at pop and pour. Needs a 30-45min decant. Marzipan, honeyed cashews, and mineral driven. Slowly gives way to lemon cream and tropical notes (mango?). Complex. Lovely. Delicious! Need more of this.

Nice finesse and precision. Lots of citrus notes, white florals, green apple with a touch of golden apple, lemon, lime candy, very good acidity and fine, elegant finish. This is a Chardonnay that should age 3-4 years before you drink it.
