Dry and tart and a bit sticky with the mouthfeel, but the deep berries really give it some character #wsjwine

My moonjar brother in law loved it so it must be good. Dry, smooth easy to drink.

Deep dark jammy fruits like cherry and blackberries. Strong tannins at the finish.

Pretty solid #châteauneufdupape. Earthy fruit with a bit of tobacco and some spice on the nose. Like many CDPs, quite sweet up front, dark berry jam and medium acidity but pretty stout tannins towards the finish. I prefer a more dry style but a good CDP for the price.

It’s interesting they don’t label this #châteauneufdupape as such in the front label. But it tastes like one - earthy spice balanced with dark berry fruit on the nose that carries through a sip with softer tannins on a long finish. There’s an interesting salty background on the earthiness as well. Fantastic Rhône CDP for the price.
