Some evidence of aging from rim variation and aroma. Med intensity aroma. Ripe red fruit. Dry but with a hit of fresh fruit sweetness. Medium plus body. Medium acidity, velvety tannins, mellowed by aging. Black cherry, some pepper and vanilla from oak. Long finish.

Had this with paella and honestly thought it was a 50 dollar bottle - so good - quaffable and sophisticated at the same time.

Dark ruby with medium plus tears. Alcohol in the nose with red fruit. On the palate, red fruit, echinacea, medium acid, and stone fruit. Overall decently well balanced with enough acid to cut through hearty food.
