Mid lemon. Notes of chamomile and apple of medium intensity. Off dry palate with a fine mousse showing appley notes with a hint of pear with a medium+ finish. A very good Prosecco and great value at $29.52. Drink now.

So apparently yesterday (August 13th) was #NationalProseccoDay. How did I miss that?! Yes itβs another US inspired wine day that we are just going to have to make international okay π€·ββοΈπ

Thankfully here at the TC HQ we celebrated early with this bottle of Bellussi Prosecco Di Valdobbiadene we picked up from Dan Murphys on the weekend ($25). #ProseccoMadeMeDoIt

My tasting note π Itβs a pale golden colour in the glass. Inviting aromas of shortbread, apricots and citrus invite you into the glass. While in the mouth itβs extremely refined with smooth bubbles and acidity topped off with crunchy apples π and a hint of honey π―.

A DOCG Prosecco that is a bit on the sweet side. Nose of flowers and some peach fades quickly. Like an Italian version of a sparkling German Riesling. Pleasant peach and apricot flavors, but a bit too sweet for a "Superiore".
