Surprisingly light. Aromatic and fruity, not as dry as some Chianti's. Has a smooth finish w/ a hint of spice. Pairs well with small plate appetizers (hummus, roasted brussel sprouts, tomatoes, parmigiano cheese , olives & smoked salmon)
