Bellingar Estates Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Reserve 2017, Oregon

Light purplish in color with light intensity.

Lovely nose of violets, blueberries, black cherries, sweet strawberries, spices, herbs and black pepper.

Medium bodied and soft, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, raspberries, spices, herbs, light vegetables, earth and black pepper.

Medium finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very nice Pinot Noir from Oregon. Nicely balanced with mild complexity. Reminds me of a Santa Barbara Pinot Noir.

Easy drinking with a nice mouthfeel. Soft and elegant.

A good porch wine. Good right out of the bottle and better with some airtime (45 minutes). Spicy and interesting.

Good by itself or with food. I gave it a light chill and paired it with light appetizers.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$35.
