Clone 6 Unfiltered Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon

We had the 2013 Vintage on 5/2-3/21. This was a terrific full bodied, well balanced wine. Tastes of blackberry, plum, kirsch and vanilla on the palate. The tannins were smoothed out. A great example of the Napa floor.

We had the 2013 Vintage on 8/16-17/20. The prior bottle was bad, an anomaly. This has all the characteristics and tastes of a good Napa floor Cab. Blackberry, cherry, cassis and vanilla. Full bodied, well balanced, fruit forward, New World wine.

We had the 2013 Vintage on 7/31/20. This might be a bad bottle. There was some astringent taste that marred the wine. We have had a better experience with the same wine previously, so let’s hope the next bottle is better.

We had the 2013 Vintage on 6/5/20. Nice bouquet of dark fruit, cassis and oak. Tastes of blackberry, blueberry, plum and spice. A New World, fruit forward, Napa Cab.

Loads of red fruit, soft tannins and a great mouthfeel. Ready now with decanting. Will improve with age.
