2000. Showing it's age on the nose, completely on tertiary notes: dried cherries, pot pourri and a kind of muddyness. The palate however was full of life still with bright acidity and mature fruit. Was a treat to taste them all in a row.

2013 Bel Lago Pinot Noir. Great wine to reminisce about our annual anniversary trip to Traverse City. The wine has great plum notes this year. It's a bit tart, so it well balances a sweet red pasta sauce.
