This is fantastic, one the the best Bedrock’s I have ever had. Reminds me of a Barolo with the dried rose petals, spice and dusty tannins.

Medium (-) intensity on the nose but fantastic on the palate. More red fruit here than one might expect from a CA Zin...cherry, strawberry, tart blackberry, tart blueberry, with a peppery finish. Plenty of acid to balance the fruit and alcohol. Medium (+) finish. Makes the mouth water with tannins that linger on the finish. Fantastic!

One of the more open and accessible '13 bedrocks I've had--though others open with long decants. Nice core of fruit & earth. Refreshing acidity. Good stuff.

For whatever reason, this particular bottling has been my least favorite of the various Zinfandel vintage and vineyard combinations I’ve had from Bedrock. Don’t get me wrong - t’s certainly fine. It just doesn’t grab me beyond that.

Not my favorite Bedrock. This has a pronounced minerality accented by a savory edge, but displays less of the sweet fruit that's present in some of their other zins.

A lighter bodied Zin that starts with tart cherry on the entry followed by brambly red fruit and cocoa on the mid-palate with a medium finish of slight charred cocoa that lends earthiness. A bit of heat on the finish so will see if that integrates more as I let my second bottle rest for a couple years.

Wonderful fruits- red and black. A bit of wood upon opening as you'd expect and then goes away and fruits come forward. Very balanced Zin. Excellent!
