Casa Santinamaria Vineyard White Blend

A care package arrived today!

This has really blossomed into a very intriguing wine for the dollar.

Old-vine weirdness at its best. Mind-bendingly interesting wine with weight, cut and unique fruit profile.

Smelled like an old fish tank. Eventually blew off but hours later. Sad fish 🐟

Field blend planted in 1905. Gorgeous! Almost yeasty and oily.

I'm pissed that I only spent $17 bucks on this...and didn't buy a lot more! Morgan might just be a genius when it comes to heritage vineyards.

At caffè Aldo Lamberti. Fantastic

Not great tasting notes, however a fantastic QPR that delivered a depth of aromas and flavors I did not expect. Had to go into cellartracker to see what it costs...punches way above its weight class

Another great old vine (1905) field blend white from Bedrock. Muscadelle, Chasselas, Zinfandel, Semillon, and Chardonnay. I like the Compagni Portis a bit more, but this was a terrific buy at the release price of $17.50
