Deep, dark, cooked black and blue fruit, smoke, ash, very subtle meatiness, and no shortage of oak. Long, spicy, explosive finish. Substantial, chewy tannins that would benefit from more time in the bottle... would have been a bit much without the steaks. Nice bottle though.
