What a surprisingly sneaky little wine! When first opened it was dull, flat, closed and boring....almost wrote it off and opened something else. Came back to it in the glass about 10-15 minutes later and it was a whole new wine full of layered aromas of earthy, damp forest, mushrooms, rhubarb and cola. Same on the palate with tart cherries and wild strawberries to compliment. A woodsy Oregon Pinot from '07 with plenty of acidity and life left in it. Biodynamic.
