Enjoyed the 2017 - A fair amount of earthy barnyard notes, but also not overwhelming. It had a bit of a prickly texture that quickly blew off a single glass, but persisted in a closed bottle overnight. Not necessarily a bad thing but just interesting to note that this wine was still alive and kicking when I tried it. Dried cherry, some dark fruit leather, silky tannins, and no strong pyrazines (which usually put me off Cab Franc). Amazingly delightful with some braised pork with roasted poblano peppers and cilantro. A really interesting and layered wine that had me going back for seconds. I thoroughly enjoyed this!
