Herbal, bretty, tannic, hard edged, i.e. really great red wine. Washed the pork shoulder down really well.

Had at a virtual work event. Overpriced for what I tasted. Did go very well as part of a red pasta sauce!

Friendsgiving at Michelle and Julian’s. Alongside homemade pizzas! Wine was delicious. Big and fruity, tannins completely smooth. This has really become “sweeter” over time, very different from when we first tasted it in 2011. Someone commented that it tasted raisiny like Amarone, which I found really interesting. I’ll have to learn more about wines from this region!
