Light nose of lemons, grapefruits and citrus fruits.
Medium-bodied and crisp with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, grapefruits, apples, over ripen citrus fruits, bitter herbs and white pepper.
Medium finish with bitter almonds.
This Pinot Grigio from Italy is over the hill, but is still drinkable. A little unbalanced with some rotten fruit notes, and somewhat watery.
Refreshing when very cold. Good by itself or with food. It's even kosher.
I had it by itself, by the lake...

Pale lemon in color with a green hue.
Fruity on the nose with lemons, grapefruits, peaches, red apples, spices, metals and white pepper.
Full-bodied with medium plus acidity and fat legs.
Fruity on the palate with lemons, grapefruits, green apples and metals.
Short finish with bitter almonds.
Nice and refreshing, nicely balanced. Not too complex, yet enjoyable by itself or with food. I Paired it with baked salmon and green beans.
I had the Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie, from this winery before, and this one is actually better.
Drink now while it's fresh and fruity.

Tastes like spring (heavy on pear), in an easy to drink way but more peppy than I'd like way. Worth the money spent at Trader Joe's, but probably not higher. After a few few glasses, my mouth tastes like I drank too much apple juice.

Jan 28th, 2022I think I got a flawed bottle because mine doesn't match any of the other tasting notes I've read. Started out with several bright refreshing fruits and I really liked it, but it quickly faded to thin mineral flavors with a hint of carbonation. If it had kept it's opening profile I would have really enjoyed it but once it fades I was left disappointed.
