I found this gem at Costco. For the price point - the flavors are all there - just rough around the edge (which I like). Cinnamon and Cardamom spices, plummy, a little oak. Tannic. Better day 2 and 3.

My first bottle from Montepulciano. Was never big on berry-forward wines but there's something I can't put my finger on that makes this really, really good. Looking forward to trying more from the region. Let it open up for at least 15 minutes before passing judgement.
