Nice nose of apples, oak, light vanilla, spices, toast, herbs and light earth notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with citrus, apples, oak, herbs, light vanilla, light earth and light spices.
Tangy finish with apples and limes.
This interesting Chardonnay from California is drinking very nicely right out of the bottle. Nicely balanced and complex, with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy, lighty creamy and entertaining.
Would be nice to revisit this Single Vineyard Chardonnay in a couple of years, and see how it evolves.
I've had a few vintages of this Chardonnay and this one is showing much better than the others.
Elegant and easy drinking. Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. I paired it with Chicken Fajita.
100% Chardonnay grapes where hand picked and aged for 9 months on the lees in (25% new) French oak barrels.
14% alcohol by volume.
