This was the only kind of stand out at a tiny hole in the wall LQ store. With all the usual commercial brands I chose this one out of desperation. Not a bad find for the price. Had good standard GSM notes. Slight chill was helpful. Surprisingly balanced.

This was given to us by a kind store owner after they had a tasting. Tomi liked this a fair amount more than the Shiraz he gave us, I thought it was close. Free wine somehow tastes better except when it comes in a bucket, for some reason.

Pleasantly complex nose with the earthiness you expect from Syrah; on the palate it is big and jammy, very fruit forward, surprisingly soft (to nonexistent) tannins. I might even suggest chilling it down a bit and pairing it like you would a Pinot Noir. I enjoyed this wine a lot but expected something more structured.

Nice, simple, straightforward, inexpensive Aussie GSM. Quite drinkable, not particularly memorable.

As good as when I first had it, over a decade ago.
