Deep opaque purple; it reminds me of Welch’s grape juice. Plum, blueberry, vanilla, baking spice, violet, smoke, wet earth, and pepper on the nose. Blackberry, vanilla, and butter (‽) on the palate. The mouthfeel is underwhelming, it is kinda watery and it’s just flabby, little acidity and little in the way of tannin structure. Short lived sweet cinnamon and butter (‽) with a lingering oakiness on the finish.
