Big bold tannins upfront. A plum dryness in the middle. Needs to swirl and open up.

A little vinegary. Didn't like it. Nothing like the description.

Jammy almost candied red and black fruits on the nose with an underlying scent of wet clay and black pepper. The palette is surprisingly dry with that clay flavor pushing through in front of the fruit. Not as hot as other Aussie reds I've had, which is nice. This one has depth and character, a very nice wine.
