Rich and fruit forward Malbec from a Well Known French producer. Dark cherry, blueberry, leather and tobacco. A bit astringent and alcohol forward. Still good. Revisited in February 2021. A few additional years of bottle age has done wonders for this wine. The astringency noted above has mellowed. Wine has better balance. Blueberry fruit now more up front. Proves that patience can pay off.
