Apr 16th, 2018New winery for me, and let me tell their wines were outstanding, 100% merlot, rich and deep with dark red fruit, the will hold its own with a cab. Tannins were smooth with an Caramel, oak finish. This wine did disappoint.

Apr 23rd, 2016Scoring big this evening, as this Calistoga 100% merlot is a spice fest for one's nose reminding me of an early morning forest run, breaking out into a fresh meadow, where I scoop up a handful of blue an black berries and engage. Very cool! Buy this wine!! Also, the fresh, raw kale Ceasar at Il Palio is right-on..:)!
