California Malbec

This cheeky red lured me with such a good value price, but it's not bad. Nice mix of blackberry & a hint of caramel & vanilla!
Good with a stroganoff!

Somewhat flat taste

Too oaky & dry. Finishes with tannic bite.

Slightly lacks a punchy, rich flavour but overall fairly balanced.

Surprised by how good this is for the price. Recommended by my father in law although more the brand than the Malbec specifically.
