I'm so grateful I got to try this wine. A big thanks to my cousin Mason Balistreri and Kate Francis for sharing. Oxidative, has a black walnut and banana peel flavor. Just so unique and weird I had to score it this rare wine high in my book. Never will see this again.

Banshee doesn't just make solid, approachable wines, but also makes of these interesting weirdos like this little guy. I can only imagine when they cracked into this barrel of wine at whatever other winery they bought it from... It tastes like a standard buttery chardonnay where something went awry - to fantastic results! Some oxidation like character with black walnut mixes here with cream and ripe, buttery apple flavors. Very strong and powerful. Cool wine from a cool winery.
