Gibson Ranch Grenache Gris Rosé
Bright floral white with a suggestion of Grenache waxiness, a little biased here because it is from old dry-farmed Grenache vines that I am helping to reinvigorate, but very cool to see gnarly old vines translate into this nimble and lip-smacking white wine.

Sep 13th, 2015The coppery metallic and mineral has really come out in this wine, wonderful with swordfish and grilled red peppers, so gratifying to see what these old vines that I help care for can do with a deft winemaking hand

Nov 12th, 2014As good as ever! Stony beach pebbles, underripe Strawberries, astonishing acids and a superb crispness that keeps the glass perpetually full.

Dec 20th, 2014All acid and no structure. Sad to say since I love a good Grenache Gris. Probably doesn't poses any longevity either.

Nov 22nd, 2014Lovely saline aroma engrossed in very subtle hints of Salmon. Drinks like a white wine but is more reminiscent of a ripe Saké on the palate. Delicious and interesting nonetheless!
