Here is a great Zinfandel to start the weekend with...

Deep ruby in color with a light purple rim.

Fruity on the nose with vanilla, oak, blackberries, cherries, blueberries, metals, licorice, black pepper and spices.

Dry and fruity on the palate with cherries, plums, blueberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, raspberries, earth and peppercorn.

Full bodied with high acidity and great legs.

Long finish with firm tannins and tart cherries.

This is a Great little 7 year old Zinfandel. Enjoyed by itself, but can hold its own with a big hearty meal. Very enjoyable, however, an additional year in the bottle would make it even better.

A blend of 92% Zinfandel and 8% Petite Syrah from Sonoma County. Aged in 25% French oak barrels and the rest American.

13.9% alcohol by volume.
