A delicious Merlot from Bordeaux.

Elegant and robust with a very nice nose.

Showing red and black fruits with big tannins on the finish.

Great vintage and feels very young. Needs 10 years in the bottle to mature properly.

100% Merlot grapes were aged in new French oak barrels.

Outstanding 100% merlot which is drinking gorgeously now at 10 years. Fruity, complex, exceptional length of aftertaste.

100% Merlot from Chateau Reignac. Muscular red fruit, spices, medium tannins. Could still use some years.

I'm not sure what the hoo-ha is all about with this one. Decanted for three hours. Nose is big. On the palette, this inky, sediment-filled juice brings vibrant acidity and gripping tannins and much more dark fruit than you expect from either Bordeaux or a merlot. Intense licorice notes lead the finish, which for some (including me) will disappoint. There is something tar-like about this wine.
