We visited this underground winery and cellar two years ago, and I'm reminded of the trouble we had finding the entrance driving around through vineyards looking for some sort of building or welcoming visitor center. No, for this one, you drive right into the side of a hill and the entire experience is underground. My wife, little daughters, and I loved the experience of the walking tour through the tunnels as well as the tasting at the end. Very memorable. This blanc-de-blancs is quite lemony on the nose with an almost intense bubble on the palate. One has to be careful with side-by-side comparison tastings as while there may be some subtle toastiness here, it is not a bold note in this one so side-by-side, other expressions may seem of higher quality. Very nice though.
