Getting good value skin contact on the list for the Northerners this weekend was pretty sweet. This is such a reliable, friendly orange. Night harvest and temp controlled fermentation to retain freshness and acidity. Good grip. Did get a man at a tasting last night claiming it wasn't saline though. That man is bare wrong. 🌊Viva Sicilia!

Jun 14th, 2016Orange-adjacent miracle. Fresh, acid structure, a leeeetle pet. And then grapes, stewed lemons and apricots. Deep concentration. Some stoney intrigue too. I'd happily take a keg.

Really cool skin contact white made from a grape and producer I have never seen. Somewhat like cider, nice acidity and some funk. Smooth tannin coats the mouth and dried stone fruit make the finish refreshing.

Feb 14th, 2019Not awful, but a bit on the cider side for me. It is a natural wine, so has a cloudy slightly orange colour and a bit of a farmyard nose. Not as noticeable as some natural wines.

Rated this before. This time I loved it. Rich golden color, almost has a cider taste. Mild funk.
