B Side
From the Flip Side of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, oak, vanilla, cloves, tobacco, spices, chocolates coffee, peppercorn, earth, vegetables, acetone, smoke, graphite, spices and bitter herbs.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, blueberries, currants, vanilla, earth, wood, spices, peppercorn, green herbs, cloves, light alcohol, chocolates, dark coffee and peppercorn.
Medium finish with medium tannins and spices.
This is a drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Not fully balanced, yet enjoyable with food. Showing mild complexity with a nice, spicy mouthfeel.
Needs an hour to open up properly and show some tannins.
Definitely not worth $25 ( I've had better under $15). Might be way too young, I might need to give it another shot in a few years.
I paired it with heavy appetizers.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
83 points.
$25.

“A” side sucked, “C” side was too $$$$. B side worked.

Sep 9th, 2018Soft tannins, silky mouthfeel with hints of cherries, chocolate and vanilla. Pairs well with gamier meat like London broil or venison.

Aug 19th, 2018We really enjoyed this one. Opened up after 30 to 45 exceptionally well.
