Just delicious. Ripe blackberries, cedar, black currant, and pencil shavings on the nose. The fruit remains on the palate with broad texture reminding of cooked maple syrup. Deep ruby color with light electric purple on thin rim. Alcohol is there, but offset nicely by moderate acid and lifted velvety tannin. Strong buy.
