Nice spicy nose, but a tad sharp on the tongue. OK finish - fairly easy to drink.

Great value and yet another unknown Portuguese red.
Stunning.

Lidl. Blackberry blackcurrant plum. Ripe. Biscuit. No vanilla. Taste is cherry and biscuit with lots of lovely tannin. Looking forward to trying a less cheap Douro

well made, great example of a fresh fairly young douro red at a budget price. amazing all the varietals that go into making these wines, same as port.

Good with a barbecue =)

Really easy drinking

A bit too acidic for the first half hour, but then it gets rounder. Not a stunning wine (and not as good as its white cousin), but definitely worth the price (around €3.5, exclusively at LIDL).

Great wine for that price.
