Dry, black fruits. Tannins come out upon airing. As usual with Italian wines, the flavore come out when paired with food. A very pleasing wine with characteristic Italian earthy flavors, but without much complexity.

This one has the distinct advantage of being a relatively uncommon grape (not one you'd readily find amidst the Chardonnay and Sauvignons on your supermarket shelves) consequently - it stand out immediately. It's lack of popularity also means it's a bit cheaper. I really like its clean fresh flavours.
