Purchased in Sorrento, Italy back in October 2018 I have been eager to introduce my husband Sergio to Aglianico; my favorite (new to me) red in Italy during my visit to Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Sorrento & Amalfi with my mom Nancy. Rich berry & vanilla notes on the nose yet spiced, dry & tannic on the palate with a surprising robustness and complexity. Sergio is a fan now too!
