Aug 29th, 2016Whether the Aglianico or the dirt, the Italian personality comes through. Unfortunately, that aspect seems to detract from an otherwise pleasant and well aged claret <style> blend.

Dark ruby; little on the nose, though started to yield a bit after a day's air. Primarily dark, brooding ripe fruits, with a bit of spice and sage. Coffee powder and tobacco. The fruit is dense and ripe, medium finish.
