Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Light red in color with a wide red/ brick rim and light intensity.

Earthy nose of sour cherries, strawberries, currants, earth, leather, smoke, green vegetables, herbs, animal notes and black pepper.

Light to medium in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, cherries, plums, licorice, cloves, oak, earth, vegetables, graphite, spices, bitter herbs, wet leaves and peppercorn.

Long finish with firm tannins and black pepper.

This young Nebbiolo surprised me, as it is drinking very nicely now, and it is very light. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Earthy on the nose, but shows nice fruits on the palate with a nice, grippy mouthfeel that I enjoyed.

Not quite a Barolo, but very accessible now with nice complexity. Will be better in 5 years.

Needed 2 hours to open up properly, but unfortunately, I didn't have all that time, it just finished too quickly.

I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

The neglected little sister of Barolo and Barbaresco: Roero. Has style. Under-rated.

16.5/20 (90/100) Приятный, немного ликёрный аромат в котором доминируют тона вишни и ванили. Высокая кислотность и интенсивные танины. Тона выдержки в бочке становятся более очевидными во вкусе. Очень хорошо.

Such a biddy baby. It needs years to come into balance.
