So delicious: don’t believe this is a ripasso style, but it had some dried fruit - very concentrated ripe fruit aromas. Black & red, licorice, earthy, just delightful. Med+ body, very refined - smooth finely grained tannins on palate, gobs of dark fruit flavors leading to decently long finish. Still very young for its age

Will never forget tasting this at La Giaretta in Marano di Valpolicella. Deep rich dark fruit with hints of dried fruit. Lovely smooth even lingering finish.
