Feb 18th, 2024This was remarkably fresh on the nose, with sweet citrus zest, fresh herbs, and crisp vaguely appley fruit. I love the flavor intensity on the palate. Nice balance.

Crisp, some apple, citrus, and a long finish. Biancello is the local grape along the Metauro River, which flows through Fano to the Adriatic. My nonna was Fanese, so I have an affinity for this. My last bottle. This is a seafood/ simmer app wine. It’s 60, so break out the shorts and fire up the grill!

Sort of a perfect example of a pop and pour summer sipper. 12% abv and just loads of acid, this has done great white stone fruit and a slightly oily texture (in a nice way). Good crisp finish.
