1983 Rosso Conero, who'da thunk it would still be drinkable, much less pretty okay? Heading toward portville but still showing primary and fruity characteristics. Better on its own or with cheese than pasta with tomato sauce.

Wow, Never tried this before today, have had in my cellar for at least 10 yrs along with the 71 vintage. Deep dark color, tasting very youthful for a 33 yr old wine. Lots of dark fruits, cola like with dried herbs, spice, amazing ethereal perfume feel to this wine, silky, floral with a long finish.
