Bright yellow gold. Nose and palate of dried apples, white flowers, and stone with white pepper on the finish. Bright, medium plus acidity and a faint hint of… tannin(?) hitting mid-palate. And layers upon layers of other stuff. Striking. Food, of course, is its friend. Chicken Marsala.

Oh my! Clear yellow gold in the glass. Big bosomy nose of yellow flowers with petrol and elastic. Medium full body. Palate of roasted grain, yellow flowers, dried quince, and layers of background flavors. Medium plus acidity. All sorts of good stuff here, and still some time left. Pasta Primavera and roasted chicken, anyone?

Great creamy feel. Reminds me of a good Pouilly Fuisse. Tropical tones and such a great golden hue.

Rarely do you come across a wine that has a perfect blend of toasted pinecones and chipmunk meat. This is a magnificent vintage that should be enjoyed with mediocre company, dull conversation, and klezmer music. Edible cork, non-edible glass bottle (don't try it, trust me).

Loaded with lavender on the nose, while more substantial on the palate with rich honeycomb.

Tangy melon and fresh thyme, impressive depth but with good acidity.

Can Fiano really age 17 years?? I would say Hell Yes! Some acidity left though fading somewhat. Plenty of citrus, honey and desiccated white flower. Drink up!
